Nicholls Fine Jewellery is the dream Joel has been working toward since he first stepped into the world of jewellery in 2004.

Joel began his career learning from some of the most respected master jewellers in both Adelaide and Sydney. He was exceptionally fortunate to not only develop his skills under their guidance, but also to create and sell some of the most valuable pieces of jewellery ever produced in Australia — multiple times over. With a deep understanding of both ultra-luxury and commercially successful jewellery, Joel has built a reputation for quality, precision, and creativity.

After two decades of working across all levels of the jewellery world, Joel has poured his knowledge, experience, and global industry connections into Nicholls Fine Jewellery — a local, family-owned business with a vision to bring world-class craftsmanship to his hometown.

Joel and Nat met in Sydney and built a beautiful life together in the Northern Beaches, where their two boys, Jules and Hugo, were born. Although they had everything they could have hoped for, Joel always dreamed of returning home to Adelaide. In 2025, they made the leap — leaving behind 18 years in Sydney for the next chapter: raising their family and building a business in the heart of North Adelaide.

With an onsite workshop blending traditional techniques and the latest technologies, Joel is proud to offer custom-made, high-quality jewellery — all crafted locally.
